Hyperlinks are links that are embedded into words or images on your blog. By clicking on a hyperlink, your readers can be directed to another web page. Sometimes this can be a link to another blog of yours, the blog of a friend, or the web address to a news article or something similar. It's a great way to respectfully share other websites with your readers.
Here is how you add a hyperlink to your Adventures In Missions (AIM) or World Race blog page:
1. First highlight the text that you want to hyperlink. In this case, it is the words "go to another page". Once you have your text selected, click the "insert hyperlink" button on the toolbar.
2. A window will pop up like the one below. In the URL box, insert the web address of the page that you want to hyperlink to. Be sure to include "http://" at the beginning by either typing it, or selecting it in the "type" drop-down box. You can set the Target, and pick whether the link will open in a new window or not. Once you are done setting your options, click "ok".
3. That's it! You text will look similar to what is below. Once your blog is saved and published, readers will be able to click on the link and be directed to another page.
