Hey guys!

So I'm Nikki :) I live in Republic, MO which is right in between the big town of Springfield and then all the  little boondock towns in the surrounding area.  So we're not too little, but defintiely not big. I am currently unemployed and not going to school. Yes, I know it sounds like I'm a bum but trust me, I'm not! I just quit my job this last Friday because the stress was unhealthy for me. (I worked with 15 two-year-olds for 8 hours everyday) so now I'm waiting till next week where I will hopefully start my new job of selling snow-cones! Exciting right?  I have completed 2 years of college and have plans to go back but I'm not exactly sure what I want to do yet. I'm hoping that this trip will help guide me in the way I need to go with my studies.

I enjoy doing many things. My whole family is musically talented and I thank God that he blessed me with that too because music is like a release for me. I play guitar, drums, and piano. It's been a while since I've got to play anything though so I'm probably a little rusty! I LOVE being outdoors...swimming and soaking up the sun is one of my favorite things to do. I also absolutely love having bon-fires and roasting some delicious hotdogs, then spending the rest of the evening looking at the stars.

I'm so excited for this trip. I've wanted to go to Africa for as long as I can remember and my time has finally come! I am kinda nervous though about lots of silly little things. Like bugs, and the food, and what all wierd little things that I'm going to need to pack that I might forget. But the excitment trumps all the nervousness because I know God has some amazing things in store!

I'm excited to meet everybody and go on this journey with you!! Can't wait!
