Hello! So first off my name is Shannon Myers, and I am 20 years old. I don't really have any nicknames, but some people from work call me Shannanonananon.lol (They just drag my name out a lot.) 

Right now I work at American Eagle- which is a clothing store and I work at a little kids b-day party place called Funtastic. I really like talking to people and meeting new people, but working with kids is my favorite!

I live in South Rockwood, Michigan and have lived in the same house my whole life.  I graduated from high School in 2008, then went to Monroe Community College for two years and got my associates degree. I just took this last year off cause I have NO IDEA what I want to do with my life!! So i have basically just been working full time at both my jobs.

I use to play tennis and do dance.  I love to dance still but Im not good enough to be a professional, and I feel like im too old to take classes.  Ballet would be my favorite...if I had to choose. I love listening to music and painting. I always love going on adventures with my friends, even if it is just trying a new resturant or doing something I have never done. I am pretty outgoing and kinda crazy! 

 I don't really hate anything, besides sitting at red lights, or getting stuck by a train (the trains by my house always last like 20 minutes at least). Also I love making up new words, I always have a new saying that people usually start saying if they are with me long enough.

 I have been on a missions trip before to Kentucky with my youth group a few years ago, it was like building houses and it was only for a week, but I love it, we did a VBS for the kids and got to talk to the people a little bit and it just made me want to go on another trip. I love to travel also, I went on a study abroad trip to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam last year with my school, also I have been to Costa Rica.

 I am not really nervous about this trip at all, except for the plane ride, I am not too excited about that.  I just started getting my shots and I was nervous for those, but Im expecting the trip to be nothing but AMAZING!

I am soo excited for Swaziland, I have been saving up my money for a couple years and right now just feels like Gods timing for me to go on this trip.  Africa is a place I thought I would never go, but I was checking out missions trips online and this just seemed to be the one I kept going back to! I cant wait to meet everyone going on the trip and finally see everyone! Its gonna be awesome so get pumped!! :)
